The Eastern Province Budgerigar Society
EPBS or The Eastern Province Budgerigar Society was founded in .1982
Its aim is to promote the keeping and exhibiting of
Budgerigars in the Eastern Cape. The only criteria to
become a member is a love of Budgerigars and be or become a
member of the Budgerigar Society of South Africa. It draws
members from Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage & Despatch as
well as other surrounding areas, it is pleased to promote budgerigar
breeding in South Africa
The Club has meetings every second month, which combine a
committee and a social meeting where aspects of breeding
and showing budgies are discussed so whether you breed; Sky-blue,
Cobalt & Mauve, Opaline Grey Green, Opaline Grey, Dominant Pied,
Cinnamon Green, Spangle Green, Spangle Blue, Double Factor Spangle,
Texas Clearbody or any other variety of budgie we will welcome you, even
if you have no birds but have an interest in Budgerigars come and see
us.
New members are welcomed and made to feel at home. If you
are interested contact one of the members listed below who
will no doubt invite you to the next meeting and/or to
visit their establishment

receive answers to their queries which is up and active. Members

One thing about budgerigar breeders is that they come from all walks of life, the young and the old, |
| men, women, doctors, dentists, sailors, train drivers, office and business people, artisans, retirees, some avid show breeders, some who have been had budgerigars as a hobby for years and never shown a bird, some who breed hundreds of birds each year and some who have only a few pair and therefore only breed a handful of birds but the one thing they have in common is their love for budgerigars.
